State of the Flock

The state of the flock is thus... After days upon days of deliberation and consternation, we saw fit to prune the newly augmented flock. Remaining a part of the household are (clockwise from upper left) Kiki, Sonny, Sonny III, and Corky. Corky's neck has straightened out to a large degree but I haven't had him out of the cage recently to check his flight pattern. I suspect it isn't much improved. Sadly, we had to let go of Sonny Jr. and Feathers. Sonny Jr. went to a man who previously bred parakeets for wholesalers but now has just a few. Feathers went to a woman in a head-to-toe burka and her five kids. (Editors note: Okay, THIS is the last of the bird posts.)
